I've had a long-time dream of owning a "Classic" car, but with gas prices rising I fear that there is a real, legitimate move away from internal combustion. And to this end, I am conflicted. Of course I support the move from fossil fuels, and I doubt that in my lifetime they will disappear altogether, but perhaps $10 a gallon will be too much to support a habit.
What I can console myself with is photographs, to which I think now have been given more legitimacy. Let me explain further. There is really only one thing I enjoy photographing passionately -Cars. Well, any vehicle really. But something about the lines on a Pre- 1975 anything just creams my jeans. And on that note, here's a shot from Roseburg, Oregon.
