Mudfest vs. the Traction

The challenge with owning four, count them, four bicycles of vastly different purposes is adjusting riding style. Be it MTB, which I took part in today and struggled through patches of mud and an inappropriate rear tire (one which is more hybridized for road and packed trail use) or Cruiser, there is an attitude for each ride.

And yet by attitude I mean the more Elizabethan interpretation of the word. I apologize for that reference, but I am in Advanced Shakespeare this term and these things always end up permeating my thought cycles through osmosis. Attitude is about riding style, mindset, body position, aggressiveness, and of course, cleanliness.

Today "Mud" was the word, as well as the issue. Or should I say "challenge?" But that's Oregon. Location, Amazon Headwaters: between Dillard and Fox Hollow Rd, respectively.
