Some people think it's a good idea to help out with those poor folks down in the Hurricane Katrina area - Here's why it's not: The government should be fixing those people's houses. Disaster areas are exactly what the National Guard should spend their money on. What is the point of a military if it can't even protect it's own people.
So let's pretend the government is an amalgamation of people who collectively act like a child. It's a stretch I know, but certainly if we volunteer to put these Katrina effected people back into their houses then we just created a conflicting message for the government. Now it's as if the government doesn't need to help it's unfortunate masses, because they can take care of themselves. Well, unfortunately the government has failed to protect it's own people and even now it isn't doing enough to correct the problem in the Gulf States. This is especially true in Louisiana where the breeched levy should have been built stronger, when it was know that it couldn't withstand such strong hurricanes which are prevalent in the area.
Tell the fraternal public hands of, the Government has to clean this one up or he doesn't get any dessert.
