I wrote the last post for this blog on April 29th. I always hated reading my own writing from months before.
Barf, how awful.
What was I thinking?
It's alright though, growing is fun. I'm a different person in just 6th months. Not entirely different, though.
I just got back from a nice little sweater weather bike ride. Excellent. I've spruced Frank up again. No rubbing tire noises, no Ka-chunk ka-chunk lumpy tires. The lights are set up again, shine on you crazy diamonds.
I know 'old hat' means something else, but I've always felt it should be a term of endearment.
Frank feels like 'old hat.'
I ordered a 3 lb wheel of cheese from www.wine.woot.com , they told me to wait and to listen and then Thursday would come and we would be in for the collective surprise (I've always hated that first "r" in surprise).
Root Beers I've tried in the last half-year worth note:
Many.
Root Beers I consider worth note right now:
Dr. Tima, Honey Root Beer.
or as I would like to call it,
Dr. Tima, Esquire.
"Hey!" Said the tall man.
"What is it?" Gregory's wild gesticulations mimed straight to my brain.
"Do you think our readers will appreciate this new post? Do you think they think it's totally awesome that David wrote about root beer, cheese, and bicycling (English comma usage, totally the best here) just like he promised?"
A solemn Gregory mouthed the words backwards, "I do."
"But what's wrong Greg?" The tall man's inquisition was met with sad puppy-eyes, much the way a statue's eyes are met with frog eyes if that statue happens to be in a swamp, or perhaps near a swamp.
"I don't think anyone has ever reader this. Ever."
Cheese, Root Beer and Bicycling.
